Lavenham, an historic wool town, has become an antique shoppers paradises . Lavenham is famous for its medieval architecture, rare as it is in such good condition. The shapes of the houses in the village are quite extraordinary.
Snape Maltings
Snape Maltings is best known for its concert hall.
The Maltings closed in 1960.
The buildings have been partially restored and rebuilt (some remain dilapidated) and converted into shops, galleries, and the concert hall, where part of the world-famous Aldeburgh music festival is held.
